A car caught on fire after it crashed into a tree, killing one in southern China on March 30.

The dramatic video shows an out-of-control white car speeding into a tree on the side of the road then smoke coming out of the car before it’s engulfed in huge flames.

A driver stops to call the police, while another passerby grabs an extinguisher from a nearby petrol station to try to put out the fire as well as breaking the car windows to save the people trapped inside.

After firefighters arrived, they extinguished the fire in short time.

Two passengers escaped from the car and suffered injuries, while one was trapped and died, reports said.

The cause is under further investigation.
