Cricket star and Rajya Sabha member Sachin Tendulkar has made a grand gesture, putting our netas to shame. Master blaster Sachin, whose Rajya Sabha term ended recently, has donated his entire MP salary of 6 years, amounting to Rs 90 lakhs to the Prime Minister's relief fund. Time and again he was berated for not attedning sessions and not speaking in the Parliament. But with this one move, Sachin has silenced his critics who sit in Parliament and disrupt sessions all day long. On the one hand, we have Sachin who has donated his salary and on the other, you have netas who despite the perks and benefits continue to demand salary hikes. But the question we need to ask is — is it time for these netas who disrupt Parliament to pay us back?
