A demonstration project that illustrates that simple and robust constructive and technical solutions are capable to challenge low-cost energy scarcity in a credible way.
The aim is to pass through an Arctic winter in a self-sufficient dwelling and without the use of non-renewable energy.
The Passive Igloo project est un projet mené par l'architecte naval Peter Gallinelli. Il s'agit d'un voilier construit selon les règles de l'habitat passif, c'est-à-dire fonctionnant à partir d'énergies renouvelables, naviguant dans les conditions extrêmes de l'Arctique.
