Study Finds Meditation Can Help Sustain Long-Term Attention

Regular and intensive meditation sessions could help a person remain attentive and focused. This is according to a new follow-up study conducted by UC Davis. The study began in 2011. Researchers followed up every six months, 18 months and seven years. Those who practiced a lot of meditation maintained better cognitive abilities. The report suggests "that meditation can offset age-related cognitive decline."
