This is my wifes, Kathleen Holmes, new dollhouse. I started building the shell for her in the garage three years ago. It is an original design and has many details, like heat registers, built-in cabinets and a screened-in back porch. She put individual shingles on the roof and made the chimney out of real little bricks. The floor is made from individual walnut boards. All the rooms have been wallpapered as well as wainscoting added in some of the rooms. She also landscaped around three sides of the dollhouse with trees that change with the seasons. The rooms have been furnished with miniatures that have been collected over 20 years. The house is also decorated with items that change with the seasons and holidays.\r
Scale for this Dollhouse is 1 to 12, one inch equals 12 inches.\r
