This is not the first time the footage has been shared online. It was first posted to YouTube in May this year by a user named AETBX.\r
He told the Daily Dot that he too had come across the clip in a bizarre fashion.\r

Via translation, he said that a girl he knew found it in a park outside Spain on a disc. She then sent him the file online.\r
\r
He denies that he had anything to do with the new version, which does not contain his usernames watermark and believes that Swedish tech site GadgetZZs claims the DVD arrived via post were fake.\r

Most are convinced the footage is a dark prical joke - just in time for Halloween.\r

Another suggestion is that it is an, admittedly poor taste, viral marketing campaign for Ron Howards‘Inferno to hit theaters a year from now in October 2016. \r
