  • il y a 6 ans
Welcome to a brand new (yes!)of How to Draw! This time around we will be focusing on video game charers. Today, we will be doing a tutorial of GENJI SHIMADA from OVERWATCH!\r
\r
I changed my How to Draw format a bit, which has made it easier and faster for me to edit them. The videos will be longer this time around, but from what Im hearing from you guys, you dont mind the longer video tutorials. Also, there will be a coloring page for my How to Draws as well.\r
\r
Enjoy and happy drawing,\r

FROM WIKIPEDIA:\r
Genji Shimada is a 35-year-old Japanese cyborg ninja. He was the youngest son of the master of the Shimada clan, a guild of assassins based out of Hanamura in Japan. When his father died, his elder brother Hanzo demanded that Genji take a more ive role in the clan. Genji refused, resulting in a duel between the two brothers. Hanzo left believing that he had killed his brother, but Genji had survived and was rescued by Overwatch, rebuilt into a cyborg warrior. He then set out to completely dismantle his familys criminal empire.\r

● TIPS FOR MAKING AN AWESOME DRAWING SUGGESTION ●\r
Not all suggestions are the same. Some are great, but some are not so good. Heres how I sort them out:\r
\r
1. Is it current? (From a TV show or game thats currently popular, from athats coming up or just released in the last few months, or from a current run in the comic books, etc.)\r
2. Is it a popular, mainstream charer? (People who dont usually watch the show/, or read the comics, still know the charer.)\r
3. Is there enough interest from my viewers? (I keep a note of all suggestions made in the comments section.)\r
4. Is it a popular enough YouTube search? (I use a keyword tool to see how often people search for tutorials on charers, before I draw.)\r
5. Is it easy to do a tutorial on? (Some things are very difficult or time-consuming to do tutorials on.)\r
\r
GOOD SUGGESTIONS: Iron Fist, Dr. Strange, Spock, Dr. Who, Pikachu\r
\r
NOT-SO-GOOD SUGGESTIONS: Cisco (not popular enough in YouTube search), Electro (Spider-Man 2 is an older ), Cristiano Ronaldo (drawing likenesses of celebrities is pretty difficult), Jar-Jar Binks (not a popular, well-liked charer), Aquaman (he only had a cameo, so wait till hiscomes out, when hell be more popular), Harley Quinn (I just did one of her).\r
\r
Basically, to be successful on YouTube, you need to have views. To get views, I select charers that I know are in high demand. I do apologize if any of your suggestions dont fit my criteria. For now, I would like to focus on more mainstream charers so I can grow this channel. Also, since I get A TON of requests everyday, I ask all of you to please be patient with me as I can only do two tutorials per week. Thanks!\r
