The biggest book on the list should be Avengers #1, which starts a newin Marvel NOW 2.0 and adds new members to the team, but in reality it was The Unworthy Thor #1 that stole the show in the first place. The return of Odinson to the Marvel landscape is very welcome and it brings fans a new/old charer to love and that is Toothgnasher the Space Goat! I mean, it was ridiculous and amazing at the same time. That being said, Avengers issue #1 was still a pretty good read and primarily saved by the art. However, if we are talking about continuing books, Champions #2, which is also written my Mark Waid, stole the show. This book about Marvels young superheroes just gets better and better, with the last page reveal dropping jaws all over the place.\r

In DC, Batman #10 continued the I Am Suicide arc, and in part 2 we see Batman get brutalized as he makes his way into Santa Prisca to confront Bane. There are a few cringe worthy moments in here, so I hope you know what youre getting into. Regardless, Batman #10 is still a great example of strong storytelling from Tom King. However, the best book of the week from DC is easily Superman #10. Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason are putting everything into this book and it shows. The humor is off the charts and the way the charers are portrayed give them so many dimensions. It goes from fun school story, to horror, to full blown ion and then a family drama in a few pages. Superman Rebirth has been one of the bestin comic books and Superman #10 is an excellent example of why that is.\r

We also have strong showings from Aquaman #10, Green Lanterns #10, which is gaining a lot of steam and Nightwing #8. Death Of X #3 is in there somewhere, but its kind of a hot mess.\r
