Tokyo's one-armed barista robot makes a fine cup of drip coffee

This new cafe in Tokyo's bustling youth mecca of Shibuya is run completely by a robot.

Henna ("strange") Cafe's sole employee is Sawyer, the US-made robot that uses artificial intelligence and who has been trained to be the best barista in the world.

At the cafe, which opened in February, customers place their orders via a touch screen, receive a QR code and a cup to give to the robot arm.

Sawyer then comes up with the goods in two to four minutes.

One cup of drip coffee costs 320 yen (about 2.15GBP or 3USD).
