DIY Bath Bomb/How-To Make Bath Bombs \r

This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to make a basic bath bomb. This is my favorite recipe to use if you are just starting out in your bath bomb making adventure. Hope this helps! Enjoy! xo\r

Bath Bomb Recipe \r
1 ½ C. Baking Soda \r
¾ C. Citric Acid\r
¾ C. Cornstarch\r
1 ½ T. Cream of Tartar\r
1 Tbs. Cocoa Butter\r
1 Tbs. Coconut Oil\r
1 ½ Tbs Castor Oil \r
½ Tbs. Rubbing Alcohol (91% or more works best!)\r
½ Tbs Distilled Water\r
1 Tbs. Fragrance Oil (skin-safe)\r

Other things you can use to color your bath bombs - \r
Lake dyes - these are skin-safe and come in a powdered form. Mix with rubbing alcohol when mixing your liquid ingredients. A little goes a long way! \r
Wholesale Supplies Plus - \r
Mica - use sparingly or they will create a dark colored ring around your tub! - My favorites include. \r
Mad Oils Micas - \r
Nurture Soap Micas - \r
Food Coloring - Mix with liquid ingredients. Gel food coloring also works well. And no, these wont dye your skin as long as you dont go crazy and add the entire container :) \r
