I hate that I have so many different things plugged in and charging on my bedside table, so I decided to make a new lamp and build in a USB charger on the back side. There are millions of different designs that this could work with, but I like robots, so I loosely modeled my lamp on several different 50s era robot toys. The lamp kit and USB charging receptacle are extremely simple to wire up and You can customize the design of the lamp to your tastes.\r
