A Week Of Shake Ups In The Trump White House

Critics and White House insiders believe the actions of President Trump this week within his cabinet including the firing of Rex Tillerson offer a huge signal of whats to come, as it relates to US-Russia relations. After Tillerson was removed it was announced that CIA Director Mike Pompeo would be Tillerson's replacement as secretary of state. Additionally CIA Deputy Director Gina Haspel will replace Pomeo and head the CIA. The Presidents decisions will have a long term effects on the US's national security, its relationship with Russia, and its standing on the world stage.
