Four barn owls were released on June 26 in Cedar City, Utah.\r
\r
Please see previous video about their rescue:\r
\r
\r
Martin had to rescue four young barn owls, first two, then two more. Because of the location of the nest, they found themselves in a very dangerous situation and had to be rescued.\r
\r
Normally when you find baby birds out of the nest they are just fine, dont pick them up. Mom and Dad will continue to feed and care for them on the ground until they are old enough to care for themselves.\r
\r
Caring for sick, injured and orphaned native Utah wildlife, restoring them to health and returning them to the wild is one of the primary goals of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation.\r
\r
For those that cannot be released due to disabilities, the Southwest Wildlife Foundation is developing the Cedar Canyon Nature Park, which will provide non-releasable wildlife with a permanent home in a natural setting while enhancing educational opportunities. \r
\r
The Southwest Wildlife Foundation (SWF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public organization, providing wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and promoting wildlife education in Southwestern Utah.\r
