Ashura: 'The Greatest Tragedy in Islam'

This video briefly depicts the heartbreaking tragedy of Ashura, which befell the Ummah of Islam in the year 61 A.H. On the 10th of Muharram (and hence named Ashura), the beloved grandson of the Prophet of Islam, and the light of his eyes, Imam Husayn son of Ali, was brutally slaughtered along with 72 of his family members and loyal companions, and their women and children taken as captives.
