Making this DIY Shopkins iPad case is super fun and super easy. First, you need to decide which Shopkin you want to paint! I decided to paint Lippy Lips because lots of you guys have been asking me to paint her next! Use your computer to find a picture of the Shopkin you want to paint for your DIY craft, and print it out the size you would like to make it! Attach your Shopkins design template to a piece of tracing paper (also called carbon paper) and use tape to fix it onto your tablet case. You can get tracing paper at most arts & crafts stores. Use a pen to trace over your Lippy Lips (or other Shopkin) design, and press down really hard so the Shopkins design comes off onto the iPad or tablet case! Once youve traced over the whole design, remove the paper and youll see your design on the iPad or tablet! \r

Next choose which color paints youd like to use. I use arcylic paint because they seem to work well on this type of material, but you can use different paints if you think they will work better! I bought my different colors of paint at Michaels, but you could get them at most well-stocked arts & crafts stores! Use your paint brush to paint on the different colors of the Shopkin youve chosen! Make sure to leave enough time for the paint to dry before you begin painting again. When you finish, youll have a super cute, super fun, unique, individual DIY gift for someone (or just for yourself)! \r

This craft is super easy, super fun and super cute! This craft doesnt require many special materials (except for a tablet case that you can paint on, paints, painting brushes, and tracing paper!). Always ask your parent before you start any crafting project, but this craft is very kid friendly! You dont use any materials that are less kid-friendly, so its a very child friendly craft! This is also family friendly meaning you could do this craft with your whole family and have fun painting your own tablet case! I used an iPad case for this craft, but you could use any kind of tablet case that you could find! If you dont have a tablet, you could also do a miniature version of this craft using an iPhone case or an Android case!
