Saudi Orders Formation Of Department To Investigate, Prosecute Corruption Cases

According to a report by Reuters, Saudi King Salman has ordered the forming of specialized departments in the public prosecutor's office to probe and prosecute corruption cases. Attorney General Sheikh Saud al-Mujib said in a statement that the move is intended to increase effectiveness and accelerate the process of combating corruption. In a sweeping anti-corruption probe, Saudi authorities detained hundreds of top businessmen and royals.
