Exercise May Be Even More Important After 40

According to a report by Mother Nature Network, while exercise at any age is good for a person's health, recent research has shown that exercise for people between forty and sixty-five may be crucial for longevity. Telomeres are caps at the end of DNA strands that are liked to longevity. Researchers from the University of Mississippi and the University of California, San Francisco found that exercise seemed to prevent telomeres from shrinking and prolonged life for people ages 40 to 65.
