Expanding your repertoire is a challenge many artists never overcome. Aaron Friend has used that notion as his primary motivation in writing, recording, and producing the new “Colors” EP, to be released later this winter.
Aaron has lived and breathed the Nashville music scene for a decade by writing, producing, and licensing music for himself and other artists across the east coast. The past year, he has worked stages and songwriter nights in some of the most notable institutions in Music city; Mercy Lounge, Exit-In, The Basement, The Boro, The Country, 3rd and Lindsley, Hotel Indigo and several other establishments.
The recordings, on ‘Colors’ release pull influences from David Bowie, The Killers, and other upbeat, iconic indie rock. Colors spectrum of songs were co-written and produced by Ryan Truso and Jackson Eppley of You're Not My Dad.Truso and Eppley have claimed song placements through television and film worldwide, and even garnered recognition at the London Production Music Awards being nominated for Best Pop Song.
