Nick Cannon whips up his version of a mai tai—Mai Time To Turn Up—while chatting about his new single, Only You. The Wild ‘N Out star dives into the creative process behind the single, including why it feels like yacht music, the special place he has in his heart for the Caribbean, and why he had to get Fat Joe on the 90s inspired track.

MAI TIME TO TURN UP
• 1.5oz aged rum
• .5 oz cachaça
• 1.5 oz pineapple juice
• .75 oz lemon juice
• .75 oz orgeat
• A few dashes of Angostura Bitters
• A few dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters

Add rum, cachaça, pineapple juice, lemon juice, orgeat and regular bitters into a shaker. Add a few pieces of crushed ice, close shaker and shake. Fill tall thin drink glass with crushed ice to top. Pour drink from shaker over ice. Top off glass with more ice, then add a few dashes of Peychaud’s bitters to the top. Finish with a pineapple leaf.
