LAPD Arrests Frances McDormand’s Oscar Statuette Thief

Los Angeles police have arrested a man accused of stealing Frances McDormand’s Oscar.
The theft happened at an official Oscars after-party.
McDormand won the Best Actress award for her performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
The Oscar was retrieved and later returned to McDormand.
According to police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman, a 47-year-old man has been arrested with a charge of grand theft.
It was taken at the Governor’s Ball party in Hollywood where the Oscar statuettes are engraved.
