Today on Kentucky Ballistics we shoot some ballistics gel with our Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum Revolver and our Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Magnum Revolver! I thought it would be interesting to compare the 44 Magnum to the 500 Magnum. The 44 Magnum was the worlds most powerful handgun at one time. I thought it would be fun to see the differences between the old champ and the 500 Magnum which is now the title holder of most powerful handgun. In this video we have 48 inches of 10% ballistics gel for our test and some high quality Underwood Ammunition. The guns used in this video are a Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum Performance Center Revolver with a 10 ½ inch barrel and a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Magnum Revolver with a 9 ½ inch barrel. The ammo used in this video is Underwood 500 S&W Magnum 350 Grain XTP Jacketed Hollow Points and Underwood 44 Magnum 300 Grain XTP Jacketed Hollow Points. \r
