Trump Paris Accord Decision Hurts Women Most Of All

The climate agreement includes plans to empower women globally. Studies show that educating girls can reduce CO2 emissions significantly: 59.6 gigatons by 2050. Giving women birth control can reduce millions of unintended pregnancies. Environmentalists say these are some of the most powerful ways to curb climate change. "A few years ago, climate change was considered gender-neutral. But when we did a gender analysis, gender neutral actually mean gender-ignorant." said Naoko Ishii, chief executive of the nonprofit Global Environment Facility, which works on climate issues.
