Conceived as a Formula 1 car for the street, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is a radical high-performance concept car that has been an auto show darling first shown in Frankfurt and later at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The plug-in hybrid Project ONE hypercar boasts a EQ Power+ drivetrain inspired by the German auto company's factory Formula 1 program rated at a peak 1,000 horsepower. The vehicle's top speed is projected at 217 miles per hour with acceleration from 0 to 200 kilometers per hour estimated at 6 seconds.

Wrapped in carbon fiber construction, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE's exterior design is contoured for ideal aerodynamic balance. The cabin area of the hypercar also has racing inspiration with seating integrated with the bottom tub and a steering wheel possessing a full array of controls.
