'Mulan' Live-Action Film Pushed Back to 2020 On Thursday, Disney announced that the Niki Caro's live-action adaptation of 'Mulan' will be moved to Mar. 27, 2020. The film's original release date was Nov. 2, 2018, but there were delays due to the worldwide search and casting of the main star, Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, will star as the titular Disney princess. Disney also announced that the highly-anticipated 'Avengers: Infinity Wars' will be released one week earlier on Apr. 27, 2018. Other releases have been changed, as well.
