"Christmas At Rose Lane - 1974" is presented in tribute to countless Massillon, Ohio, U.S.A. area Scouts and Church of Saint Mary Massillon parishioners who contributed to the Cub Scout (Parvuli Dei) Boy Scout (Ad Altare Dei) and Girl Scout (Marian Medal) religious award groups that spread good tidings and cheer through the seasons through music and song at numerous nursing home and children's homes; and at various social clubs and events in a 4-county area from 1970-1979. Some of the places the group performed were Rose Lane Nursing Home, Gaslight Villa Convalescent Center, Saint John's Villa of Carrollton, Chapel Hill Community Nursing Home, Copeland Oaks Skilled Nursing Center, House of Loreto Nursing Home, Westbrook Park Nursing Home, Sara Lee Nursing Home, Knights of Columbus, Rosary Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. In spreading good tidings, group members spent some time with residents and listeners after each music program. The group began under the name "The Royal Supremes," which was changed over the years to "The Cherubim Chorale," "The Singing Seraphs," and "The Lines and Spaces." Among those who helped to spread good tidings to others were: Tim Coulter, Steve Coulter, Cathy Coulter, Doug Sibila, Gabe Sherhag, Tom Martin, Bryan Mayfield, Joseph Fisher Jr., Bill Linek, Kevin McConnell, Todd Wachtel, Raymond Herbst, Roger Sherhag, Tim Apicella, Bob Herbst, III, Joe Conversino, Jr., Jon Conversino, John Eckroate, Mark Fischer, Doug Fischer, Chris Lilley, Tim Fisher, Craig Lynn, John Lynn, Pete Turkalj, Tim Wachtel, Rick Herbst, Robert Perl, Joe Cusma, Chris Yingling, Tom Miller, David Platt, Pat Flood, John Litman, Sherri Litman, Chuck Peters, Mark Yingling, Karl Bausch, Grant Graber, Mark Seymour, Mary Ann Keffler, Scott Liebel, John Harding, Greg Scheetz, Kevin McConnell, Bill Linek, Tim McConnell, John Anthony, Todd Woods, Randy Kassner, John Urwin, David Bausch, Joe Marmon, John McHenry, Jim Ertle, Brian Miller, Tim Seifert, Joseph Schwerzler, Arthur Nabinger III, Steve Miller, Dale Krabill, and Robert Streb. Among those adults who gave much to the group's success were Robert and Judy Herbst, Rose Krantz, and other parents, guardians, relatives and friends. The work of the group was recognized by the Most Reverend James W. Malone, Right Reverend Monsignor Edward C. Labbe, Reverend Monsignor James R. Kolp, Reverend Father Thomas Cebula, Reverend Father Theodore Coward and others. "Christmas At Rose Lane-1974," was recorded on reel-to-reel tape live at Rose Lane Nursing Home, Massillon, OH. Reverend Father Coward was the celebrant at this High Mass for the residents and visitors to the facility. May viewers enjoy this moment in time regardless of the season. In addition to the Mass, the group sings "O Come All Ye Faithful - 1751", "Angels We Have Heard On High - 1751, " and "Joy To the World - 1850."
