‘Teen Mom 2’ Takes Action! MTV Fires Jenelle Evans’ Husband After Homophobic Rant

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ husband was fired by MTV after he went on a homophobic rant.
“David Eason’s personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV. With six weeks left of production on ‘Teen Mom 2,’ effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him,” the network said in a statement released on February 20, 2018.
As Radar exclusively reported, Evans was on the chopping block too, with network execs weighing firing her from the show as well.
Lmao why don't you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh I forgot thats supposed to be normal,” Eason Tweeted.
Both he and Evans deleted their Twitter accounts after intense backlash and co-stars refused to film with them unless he was fired.
A source close to Evans insisted to Radar that her job with the network was safe, but her future with MTV remained to be seen.
David didn't understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works. Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on."
Evans even tried to say some of her best friends were gay.
"David doesn't hate people from the LGBT community. My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and Davids close friends. We attended Farrah’s birthday in Miami with a lot of LGBT people there and he didn't act in any type of way. We went had a good time and left."

She finally apologized, saying: "We are sorry for the comments that were made."
