Siran Valley is a small town situated in Mansehra district and about 30 Kilometers towards north of Abbottabad. The valley is fully surrounded by the lush green mountains with tall sky kissing conifers and chirs and in between these beautiful mountains flows a lovely fresh water river known as river Siran. the river siran originates from a place 45 kilometers North East of Shinkiari which is a small town in Mansehra. the water comes from fresh water springs and waterfalls. in the siran valley the river siran is sometimes as shallow that even the beautiful colorful stones present at the bed of Siran river are visible. Sometimes it looks as deep as an ocean.The Siran valley is a very distinctive town with its own traditions and customs. The inhabitants of Siran valley are very hospitable and welcomes with everyone brokenheartedly even the foreigners.Siran Valley is a very good habitat for Trout fish and is available in Siran Valley in abundance an is of very high quality. In the Siran valley town there are many old and very professional fish vendors who provide extremely delicious trout fish.The tourists visiting Siran valley must bring their fishing rods and equipment and must go for fishing and try to cook Tawa Fish and Fish Barbecue with the help of locals.
