Cat comes out of nowhere to pounce on bird

A cat came out of nowhere to pounce on an unsuspecting bird while its owner was teaching it how to walk towards a syringe filled with water outside of his home in San Pedro City, Philippines, on February 14.
As the 6-week-old African lovebird named Lola waddled along a wooden bench, a cat suddenly leapt up and pinned down the bird.
Luckily, the owner jumped in to save the lovebird. He pushed away the cat, which fell to the ground, and helped Lola, who was shaken but unharmed.
“The cat jumped up from nowhere,” the owner said. “It was very sneaky and quiet because I didn't even notice him. It happened so quick.”
