London City Airport Closed After WW2 Bomb Found in Thames Flights to and from London were cancelled on Monday after an unexploded bomb from World War Two was discovered in the River Thames. Authorities said the bomb was found during work at the airport. "All flights in and out of London City on Monday are cancelled and an exclusion zone is in place in the immediate area." CEO of London City Airport Robert Sinclair Police said the properties near the exclusion zone were evacuated.
