Facebook had a full-time pollster tracking CEO Mark Zuckerberg's public perception. The pollster reportedly quit after just six months. the pollster, Tavis McGinn, left after becoming disillusioned with Facebook. "I worked there for six months and I realized that even on the inside, I was not going to be able to change the way that the company does business." said Mcginn. It is unusual for a company to hire someone full time to track public perception of its executives. Facebook told The Verge it measures Zuckerberg's public perception because he often promotes company initiatives.
