Director Scott Derickson confirmed on Twitter that a fan has finally found an undiscovered Doctor Strange easter egg that he's been waiting for a long time for someone to notice. As it turns out, Stephen Strange shares a connection with Groundhog Day. As one fan pointed out, in the recent Doctor Strange film, a quick glimpse at the watch worn by Stephen Strange reveals that the accident which leads him to eventually become the sorcerer supreme occurs on February 2nd. A fitting secret, as the film uses the idea of time loops, similar to the classic film Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray.
