INGREDIENTS\r
\r
A. Green tea ice cream filling \r
\r
120 ml (1/2 cup) cold whipping cream, 30 - 40% fat \r
45 g (2.5 tbsp) condensed milk\r
3 g (1.5 tsp) matcha powder\r
\r
B. Mochi dough \r
\r
3 g (1.5 tsp) matcha powder\r
20 ml/ 4 tsp hot water\r
100 g (3/4 cup) glutinous rice flour\r
60 g (1/4 cup + 1 tsp) caster sugar\r
180 ml (3/4 cup) milk\r
15 g (1 tbsp) cooking oil\r
30 g/ 3 tbsp cornstarch or potato starch\r

NOTES: \r

- Milk can be substituted with water or juice\r
\r
- Glutinous rice flour is available in Asian supermarkets. Note that depending on the quality of the flour, the amount of liquid (water, milk) may vary. If your dough is too thick, hard, dense after being cooked, add more water in the next time and vice versa. Loose, thin dough gives softer mochi skin. \r
