Lung assessment for nursing students and nurses of the anterior and posterior lungs. This video demonstrates how to listen to the lungs with a stethoscope on a patient. It also discusses the lung auscultation landmarks and stethoscope placement/points. The nursing assessment skill of assessing lungs sounds is an important part of the nursing head-to-toe assessment. The nurses is assessing for normal breath sounds vs abnormal breath sounds (which includes crackles, wheezes, pleural friction rub, stridor etc). In addition, to the sound quality of the normal breath sound (which are bronchial, bronchovesicular, and vesicular sounds). \r
