This is the bizarre moment a learner driver EATS his own driving licence to avoid a point deduction.
The video, filmed in Zunyi City in southwestern China's Guizhou Province on January 14, shows the man grabbing his licence back from the police and putting it into his mouth and eating it.
According to reports, police found that the car was overdue its annual inspection and did not have a licence plate.
After the driver was informed that he would be fined and deducted points, he swallowed his licence to try to avoid the punishment.
