. Geeta Saastra is intended to remove the root of Samsara such as anguish and delusion. It is the right understanding of the immortal culture of Vedas and Upanishads. It contains the essence of Hindu Philosophy and culture. It is not merely a text book of Hinduism; but a bible of humanity. It is a practical handbook of instructions to the man on how to live nobly and grow out of his instinctive weaknesses. It says that running away from life is not the way to reach the highest goal of evolution. Mere spirituality without material exertion and secular achievement will not make life dynamic. The creed of Geeta is that spirituality can be lived in life, and true spiritual understanding is an asset to a man engaged in the battle of life.
