Theres a bit of controversy over the Baker Street Heist in 1971. A group of thieves blasted their way into a bank vault in London, by using a store as a front whist doing it. The men were using walkie-talkies to communicate, which was picked up via radio. The thieves managed to escape with $3 million, before the police could figure out which bank it was that was reported by the radio hobbyist who heard them. The controversy though, is that its believed the robbery was a cover-up and the thieves were hired to retrieve some damaging information about the Royal family. \r
