A backpack can make carrying a gun a bit of an issue. Your shirt rides up or if carrying a pack with a waist belt, carry on the waistband is nearly impossible. If you're in the backcountry or on a trail, it makes accessing the pistol very impractical.

This innovative and unique holster design allows you to mount a holster to your backpack or indeed any strapping you might want to attach a holster to. Our backpack holster allows you to put your pistol within easy reach when carrying a pack, whether you're open carrying in an urban environment, trekking through the backcountry, on a hunt or taking a nice hike on some trails.
The strap attachment is a secure locking clamp. It wraps around your shoulder strap - or any other strapping you might want to attach the gun to; you can use it with a seat belt, duffel bag carry strap, anything you like - and locks in place for a secure carry.
The strap lock of our backpack holster is molded from an ultra-durable polymer, similar to that used to build many modern firearms. You'll never have to worry about it breaking. It will carry through any conditions imaginable. It's also adjustable to allow use with strapping of most common widths.
The holster itself is our ShapeShift OWB Holster, which docks securely with the holster clamp and can be adjusted to find the perfect cant angle. The holster is custom-molded for your exact make and model of firearm, so you can expect a perfect fit right out of the packaging.
Retention is customizable. You can rely on the thumb release for active retention, or remove it and dial in your desired setting of passive retention. Or, if you prefer, you can use both for the ultimate in holster retention. You can also undock the holster from the backpack attachment and dock it with a belt attachment for normal carry or the ShapeShift Holster Dock on a fixed surface.
