Carrie Fisher won a Grammy award for best spoken word album for the audio version of The Princess Diarist…

And we couldn’t be happier.

The late icon, who passed unexpectedly in December of 2016, wrote the memoir based on the diaries she kept as a young woman and the time she starred in the first Star Wars film,

Her daughter Billie Lourd took to Instagram to say how proud she was.

Billie wrote that she wishes her mom was there to carry her down the red carpet but instead she was celebrating in true Carrie style: in bed in front of the TV over cold Coca Colas and warm e-cigs.

She added that she was beyond proud.

Fisher beat other stars in the category including Bruce Springsteen, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Bernie Sanders, and Mark Ruffalo.

It was the first Grammy win.
