Maharashtra: At least 13 dead, 3 injured after bus falls into Panchganga River at Kolhapur

In a tragic incident being reported from Mumbai, a bus with 17 passengers fell into the Panchganga River at Kolhapur in Western Maharashtra on late Friday night. At least 13 of the 17 passengers travelling lost their lives while the rest were later rescued. As per reports, the passengers were the resident of Balwadi in Pune. Soon after the bus fell into the river the onlookers alerted the concerned authorities. After the matter was reported to police, fire tenders along with rescue teams rushed to the accident spot.
