A huge storm caused alarm when it swept into Resistencia in the northern Argentinian province of Chaco on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 23.Social media users speculated that the swirling, circular, cloud was a tornado but forecaster Andrés Durán told local newspaper Diario Chaco it was merely a large cumulonimbus cloud. He said the cloud formed after a column of warm and humid air rose in a spiral, according to the report. These videos and photographs taken by eyewitness Milka Mlinarevic show the moment the storm hit the city of Resistencia.
