Protesters Lock Themselves to Barrel on Adani Railway Line

Two protesters locked themselves to a barrel positioned on an Aurizon railway line leading to the Abbot Point coal terminal in Queensland on Thursday, January 25, in a bid to halt production at the site.The group Frontline Action on Coal were calling on the Queensland government to veto a loan application submitted by Aurizon to the federal government that would allow them to build a rail line, opening up the Galilee Basin to mining.
