Derby Resignalling – improving future performance

  • 6 yıl önce
Derby Resignalling is the biggest rail investment in Derby for decades and will create a modern and improved track layout through the station area. It is also a key part of the Midland Main Line Upgrade – the largest upgrade of the line to take place since it opened in 1870, which supports better journeys between Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham and London.

This £200m Derby Resignalling investment is being delivered by Network Rail working in partnership with East Midlands Trains and CrossCountry and while Derby Station remains open throughout the work, customers travelling to and through Derby will experience significant disruption between 22 July and 7 October 2018.

To help everyone plan ahead, a dedicated customer website is now available, covering both East Midlands Trains and CrossCountry services, making it simple and easy for all passengers to understand the temporary changes to their journeys while the works take place. It is available at
