Deepika Visits Siddhivinayak Temple Ahead of “Padmaavat” Controversy

After the Supreme Court on Tuesday gave the final go-ahead for the release of "Padmaavat", its lead actress Deepika Padukone visited the Siddhivinayak temple here to seek blessings. Deepika visited the temple a ritual she follows before her films are released under security. She was seen sporting a beautiful off-white coloured Anarkali for the visit. Her visit to the temple created a huge ruckus with fans swooning over to catch a glimpse of the dimpled beauty. The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked all states to comply with its order not to stand in the way of the release of controversial film "Padmaavat" as it dismissed last ditch efforts by Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh governments to block its January 25 release.
