Hooters Chicken Wings - Actifry VS. Deep Fried - Air Fryer Wings

In making these Hooters Chicken Wings I followed the directions exly how they were on the bag. I think the Hooters chicken wing breading is pretty good, but nothing that you couldnt make on your own. While I liked both the deep fried and ifry chicken wings the deep fried ones get a slight nod. Below are my thoughts on using the Actifry VS.. deep frying the chicken wings\r
\r
Actifry: \r
Little or no oil can be used in making the chicken wings\r
The clean up using the Actifry takes little time\r
The Actifry chicken wings take at least 3 times longer\r
Less chicken wings can be cooked at one time\r
\r
Deep fried: \r
Deep frying the wings is at least 3 times faster than using the Actifry.\r
The wings were slightly more crisp \r
More oil needs to be used\r
Clean up is not as easy. The cooking area around the stove needs to be cleaned unless you are using an enclosed fryer\r
The oil needs no cool down and drained after use.\r
\r
All in all if I were making only a few chicken wings(5 to 7) I would use the Actifry. Any more than that, I would probably just deep fry them to save time more than anything\r
