What happens to books thrown out into the rubbish bins as their onetime readers try to de-clutter their shelves? In the Turkish capital Ankara, the books may not be headed for a papery oblivion but a surprising life-after-death in one of the world's most unusual libraries. A group of Ankara rubbish collectors have set up a library that already boasts thousands of works that would otherwise have been swallowed up in a landfill.
