Adam Beyer has always been seen as a techno figurehead but after the year that the Swede has had there aren't many others who can rival the twelve months he's just clocked in.

His Drumcode imprint has served up some massive releases and Beyer himself has been touring non-stop with sets at Carl Cox's Revolution, Enter, Cocoon in Ibiza and a seven-hour live recording from Awakenings Festival. Oosh.

To close off the year in true Beyer style he's dropping a furious new EP via Truesoul and fans of particularly punishing techno should take note, this one goes hard. The 'You're The Same' record features three massive original cuts and we've got the premiere of arguably the hardest.

'Valium & LFO’s' has already done some serious damage on the Amnesia terrace and we're not surprised. All it takes is 30 seconds of listening to know that this bass-heavy roller, loaded with tough bass-notes and earth-shattering drops, is enough to inspire a mass-frenzy within any crowd.

The 'You're The Same' EP will drop via Truesoul on December 1. Adam Beyer also plays at Fabric on December 27.
