A Missouri Amber Alert has been issued after 9-year-old Carlie Trent from Tennessee and her alleged abductor, 57-year-old Gary Simpson, were believed to have been sighted near Otterville, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911. Simpson, who is Carlie's uncle by marriage, removed the girl from school in Rogersville last Wednesday, telling school officials that her father had been in a car accident. The abduction sparked an amber alert for Tennessee as well as an ongoing manhunt, which has now expanded to Missouri. James Valles reporting (BNO News)
