Fill child's room with wonder

When it comes to pushing the interior design envelope, few spaces are better suited to receive bold colors and whimsical accessories than a child’s room. Designer Justina Blakeney is collaborating with Pottery Barn Kids to create a free-spirited line of children's decor. Her outer space-themed Astronomad collection bursts with primary-colored planets and rainbows. Magic Disco Caravan has “sort of this nomadic, Burning Man festival vibe,” she said. The Jungalino collection includes white quilts adorned with teal palm fronds and sheets printed with fanciful tigers and elephants. Local designer Jannicke Ramso, owner of Tiny Little Pads, focuses on creating interiors for babies and children. She designed her daughter's nursery with a butterfly-adorned upholstered wall and a multicolored, faux-carousel canopy on the ceiling.
