Black Snow Covers Children's Playground in Temirtau

While heavy snowfalls are not unusual for January in Temirtau, Kazakhstan, residents were alarmed last week after snow fell white, but then was quickly coated by a black dust once on the ground, prompting environmental concerns.Previously, local media reported that Temirtau had some of the highest pollution rates in the country.In the video above, a children’s playground can be seen covered in dark gray-black snow as winds whip in the background.
