Fun Fungi Facts

Fungi species have existed on earth for over 2 billion years. According to mnn.com, “some ancient fungi grew nearly 30 feet tall before trees existed, and today a 400-acre fungus in Oregon may be the largest organism on the planet.” Over the year, human’s have even perceived mushrooms as being magic, as they can be used as a drug.
